If you’re late on HSK 3 test day, the following rules generally apply:
- Within 5 Minutes Late: If you arrive within 5 minutes after the listening section has started, you may be allowed to enter the考场 (test room) to take the exam. However, you will miss the initial part of the listening section.
- 5 to 35 Minutes Late: If you are 5 to 35 minutes late, you will not be permitted to enter the test room for the listening section that has already begun. You will have to wait until the reading or writing section starts to enter the test room and take the remaining parts of the exam. The time you missed will not be made up.
- Over 35 Minutes Late: If you are more than 35 minutes late, you will not be allowed to enter the test room at all, and you will be disqualified from taking the exam.
