The HSK (Level 4) assessment consists of 100 questions in total, which are split into listening, reading, and writing parts. The full duration of the exam is approximately 105 minutes, with an extra 5 – minute window for candidates to complete their personal information.

The HSK (Level 4) exam will kick off at 09:00 (all times mentioned are local).
The score report for the HSK (Level 4) gives four separate scores: for Listening, Reading, Writing, and the overall Total. To get the highest possible score, a candidate needs to earn 300 points. A passing grade is secured with a cumulative score of 180 points or more. These HSK scores stay valid for a two – year period, beginning on the day of the exam.
