有一天，学校组织了一场关于“家庭责任与成长”的主题班会，老师在班会上讲了很多关于孩子应该为家庭分担责任、懂得体谅家人的道理。弟弟听了之后，心里好像被什么东西触动了一下。
回到家，弟弟看着自己那乱糟糟的房间，第一次有了想要改变的想法。他想起平时妈妈辛苦地打扫家里，还要照顾自己，心里一阵愧疚。于是，弟弟决定开始整理自己的房间。
他先把地上的玩具一个一个捡起来，放进玩具箱里；然后把书桌上杂乱的书本一本一本摞好，按照大小和类别摆放整齐；接着又把床上的被子叠得方方正正，把枕头放得端端正正。
经过一番努力，弟弟的房间变得干净整洁、井井有条。妈妈下班回来，看到弟弟的房间如此整洁，惊讶得合不拢嘴。她对弟弟竖起了大拇指，说：“宝贝，你长大了，第一次这么懂事，知道整理自己的房间啦！”弟弟听了，脸上露出了自豪的笑容。从那以后，弟弟一直保持着房间的整洁，也变得更加懂事了。

In a warm and cozy little family, there was a naughty and lovely younger brother. The younger brother was usually careless and didn’t pay much attention to many things. He often made his room a mess, with toys and books scattered all over the place, which greatly troubled his family.
One day, the school held a class meeting on the theme of “Family Responsibility and Growth”. At the class meeting, the teacher talked a lot about how children should share family responsibilities and understand and care for their family members. After listening, something seemed to touch the younger brother’s heart.
When he got home, looking at his messy room, for the first time, he had the idea of changing it. He thought about how hard his mother worked to clean the house and take care of him every day, and felt a pang of guilt in his heart. So, the younger brother decided to start tidying up his room.
He first picked up the toys on the floor one by one and put them into the toy box. Then, he stacked the scattered books on the desk neatly one by one, arranging them in order of size and category. After that, he folded the quilt on the bed into a square shape and placed the pillow properly.
After a lot of effort, the younger brother’s room became clean, tidy, and well – organized. When his mother came back from work and saw the neat room, she was so surprised that she couldn’t close her mouth. She gave the younger brother a thumbs – up and said, “Baby, you’ve grown up. You’re so sensible for the first time and know how to tidy up your own room!” The younger brother smiled proudly. From then on, he always kept his room tidy and became more sensible.
