How many questions are in each section of HSK Level 6?

In the HSK Level 6 test, the number of questions in each section is as follows:

  1. Listening Comprehension: This section contains 50 questions, divided into three parts:
    • Part 1: 15 questions, where candidates listen to short dialogues and select the correct answer from four options.
    • Part 2: 15 questions, where candidates listen to three interviews, each followed by five questions, and select the correct answer from four options.
    • Part 3: 20 questions, where candidates listen to several passages, each followed by several questions, and select the correct answer from four options.

    1. Reading Comprehension: This section also contains 50 questions, divided into four parts:
      • Part 1: 10 questions, where candidates identify the sentence with grammatical errors from four options.
      • Part 2: 10 questions, where candidates fill in the blanks in short paragraphs with the most appropriate words or phrases from four options.
      • Part 3: 10 questions, where candidates select the most appropriate sentences to fill in the blanks in two longer passages from five options.
      • Part 4: 20 questions, where candidates read several passages and answer multiple-choice questions based on the content.
    2. Writing: This section consists of 1 task, where candidates are required to read a 1000-word narrative article within 10 minutes, and then write a 400-word summary of the article within 35 minutes. The summary should only restate the content of the article without adding personal opinions.
