The HSK (Level 3) examination comprises 80 questions in total, which are categorized into listening, reading, and writing segments. The duration of the full exam is approximately 90 minutes, encompassing an additional 5 – minute period allocated for candidates to complete their personal details.

The examination for HSK (Level 3) will commence at 13:30 (all times are local).
The score report for the HSK (Level 3) offers four individual scores: one for Listening, another for Reading, a third for Writing, and the overall Total score. To attain the maximum score, a candidate must accumulate 300 points. A passing grade is achieved with a cumulative score of 180 points or higher. These HSK scores remain valid for a period of two years, beginning on the day of the exam.
